- (Left) Professor Dr. John Carlton, (Center) Esther Adams, and (Far Right) Virginia Governor John Dalton at a dinner commemorating the late Theodore F. Adams. During the dinner it was announced that more than $100,000 had been raised to rename Johnson Classroom building in honor of Theodore F. Adams. This event occurred circa March-April 1981.
