J. W. Hutchens, Jr. was Director of Evangelism for the North Carolina Baptist Convention. The service begins with organ music (00:00-04:12). John H. Westerhoff was Professor of Religion and Education at Duke University and an Episcopal priest. The event begins with Westerhoff opening for questions (00:00-00:55). Descrição:
David R. Beck was Professor of New Testament and Greek. He begins his sermon by asking the question “why am I here?” (00:00-07:27). Beck reads from 2 Timothy 2:1-15, and he states that he will walk through the seven imperatives in the passage (07:28-13:55). Beck walks through the seven imperative and delivers them to the audience as life lessons for the Christian, and his answer to the question, “why am I here,” is to serve the Lord diligently and be a faithful witness to him (13:56-36:36).

5. SEBTS Event - Lewis Addison Drummond March 1, 1988

Note - this event was held at 2pm. Lewis Addison Drummond was the Billy Graham Professor of Evangelism at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and a candidate for the presidency of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. A welcome is extended to the attendees and there is a Scripture reading (0:00:00-0:02:42). There is a moment of prayer (0:02:43-0:03:22). An explanation of how the service should go is given and the hymns are announced (0:03:23-0:05:15). Drummond is introduced (0:05:16-0:10:29).
