He states that each believer should see two visions, the first of which is a vision of Jesus Christ (8:18-12:19). In addition, believers should see a vision of a world that needs Christ (12:20-16:03). He concludes by challenging his audience to be obedient to God despite the cost (16:04-16:53). He closes in prayer (16:54-17:20).
