In addition, he explains that Pastors must avoid extreme impotency, and be willing to follow Jesus despite difficult circumstances (14:36-21:13). He concludes with a prayer (21:14-22:35).
T. L. Cashwell, Jr. was Pastor of Hayes Barton Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC. The service begins with a prayer (0:00-1:10). After which, Dr. T. L. Cashwell is introduced (1:11-3:22). The service continues with a period of singing (3:23-6:37). Cashwell’s sermon is on religion. Cashwell begins by explaining the importance of spiritual things in this world (6:38- 8:17). He continues by discussing the different types of people that exist (8:18-12:12). He illustrates that religion is becoming less popular in the modern world (12:13-17:39). Wayne Burkett was from Calvary Moravian Church in Winston-Salem, NC. This service was a lovefeast service. The service starts with Christmas carols from 0:00-2:10. He continues by discussing wrong motives believers often have (11:03-16:02). He concludes by explaining the Gospel must be the true motive of every believer (16:03-19:08). He closes in prayer (19:09-20:15).
Dr. Fred W. Sandusky was Special Instructor in Religious Education at SEBTS. He worked for SEBTS for 30 years. In this audio recording Dr. Sandusky preaches on the importance of discovering your individual "self" and trying to find out who one really is. He preaches from Matthew 16:24-25 and talks about how understanding our identity is more clear and better when God is in the picture.
