描述:: The service opens with an opening scripture reading of Isaiah 40:1-2, 6-8 from 0:00-0:42. There are announcements, prayer, and the reading of the source text for the devotional: Luke 18:18-27 from 0:47-3:17. Dr. Robert Newton preaches how we can't be saved by works, but by grace. Newton also notes that we should seek the love found only in our heavenly Father's house. Dr. Newton speaks from 3:23-21:46. Robert and Winnie Newton both held the position of Adjunctive Professor of Pastoral Care at SEBTS. The audio was transferred from audio cassette.
