- Marc Hoyle Lovelace was from Stetson University and had formerly been a professor at SEBTS. The service begins with a word of prayer (00:00-01:28). President Randall Lolley speaks on the founding of the seminary, and he introduces Marc Hoyle Lovelace as the chapel speaker (01:29-09:26). The choir sings a song of worship (09:27-14:15). - Marc Hoyle Lovelace was Professor of Archaeology (1951-1968). The service begins as Dr. Lovelace provides a word of prayer from 0:00-2:18. Those in chapel sing the hymn, “The King of Love My Shepherd Is” from 2:24-3:00. A prayer is offered from Lovelace from 3:00-6:09. A second hymn, “Immortal Love Forever Full” is sung from 6:10-6:43. - Marc Hoyle Lovelace was Professor of Archaeology at SEBTS. Dr. Lovelace tells students to reflect on the kindness of God and how He consistently supplies all needs. This message, given on All Saints Day (November 1, 1961), is given by Lovelace, and he reminds Southeastern of the history of All Saint's Day and gives thanks for the lives and influences of the saints of old. Lovelace informs that former students, faculty, and trustees who have passed away are listed as saints as well as the students and faculty sitting in the chapel service. Because they follow God, they, too, are saints. Dr. Lovelace speaks from 0:00-18:57, and there is a closing hymn titled, "Spirit of the Living God" played from 18:57-20:12.
