- Thomas H. Groome was associate professor of theology and religious education at Boston College. The service begins with an invocation prayer (00:00-01:20). Groome begins his lecture by stating that he is honored to be the first Kendrick-Poerschke lecturer, and he delivers the theme of his presentation, “Coming to Know God” (06:17-09:29).
