- A snippet of April 24, 1963's service by the Student Coordinating Council led by professor Edwin Richmond York plays from 27:25-41:07. and Sydnor Lorenzo Stealey was the first president of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He begins the service with an overview of the order of events of the chapel from 0:00-2:01. Dr. Strickland prays from 2:04-5:16. President Stealey mentions his hopes that the student aid endowment would grow and shares what his future looks like as he prepares to leave the seminary and officially retire. Dr. Stealey reads Ephesians 3:15-19 and Colossians 1:27. Stealey shares that he hopes to be remembered as a man who strived to lead the seminary to the reality of having Christ dwell in them. Dr. Stealey speaks from 5:24-27:24. This was Dr. Stealey's final message as an official of SEBTS.

- Peggy Haymes was an associate pastor of College Park Baptist Church in Greensboro, NC. Haymes is announced as the chapel speaker (0:00-0:12). An opening hymn is played (0:13-3:40). Asking God for strength/power could be a good thing, but Ephesians 3 urges believers to seek God’s love (18:14-19:48). Haymes then poses the question: is God’s love enough against all our hardships (19:49-21:10)? This love seems simple; however, God’s love is uncommon as He loves us despite our sins (21:11-22:26). Though His love is a mystery, it is all we need (22:27-25:22). Haymes concludes with stating that nothing can or will separate us from His love (25:23-26:38). A word of prayer is given (26:39-27:02).

- Joseph B. Bethea was the Raleigh District Superintendent of the United Methodist Church and a graduate of Gammon Theological Seminary. The service begins with organ music (0:00-3:49).
