- Raymond Bryan Brown was Professor of New Testament Interpretation, and Academic Dean at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. The service begins with a scripture reading (0:00-0:44). Brown begins with an introduction concerning the lepers from this passage (3:33-4:54). He continues by examining the steps the lepers of this passage took in order to become heroes. The first step is that they faced reality (4:55-9:20). The second step is that they took a chance on finding salvation (9:21-11:07). Finally, the third step is that they became heralds of the new world (11:08-15:28). The service closes in music and prayer (15:29-16:02).
