Michael Hawn sings a song of worship (14:44-18:01). Edwin Graves Wilson is introduced as the Wake Forest University Celebration speaker (18:02-21:17). Wilson begins his speech by recognizing those in attendance who are alumni or who have served as part of the faculty or staff at Wake Forest College and University (21:18-25:27). In the first part of his speech, Wilson tells the story of a February night in the 1940s when he was a student at Wake Forest College, and the second part of his speech, he tells a story about his return to campus after serving his country in the Second World War (25:28-52:34).
